Our challenge sponsor this week is STAMPlorations, and I used a fun set called "Warm Hands, Warm Hearts" designed by Shery Russ. These images are so cute! I immediately thought of the mittens for this cue.
I stamped the mittens and sentiment in black ink, then clear embossed for some shine. After coloring the mittens with Copic markers, I masked a circle and inked with blue distress ink. Finally, I added some white accents to the mittens with a white gel pen.
I am also entering this card into the current STAMPlorations March CAS Card Challenge (with the optional color twist "sky blue") and the STAMPlorations Never-Ending Anything Goes Challenge. (Did you know Shery always shares a free digi image at that link? There is a really cool floral/coffee image there now...could be cool for the upcoming Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!)
I can't wait to see how you interpret the cue card this week! Be sure to link up your card by noon on Monday (Central time). You will also be inspired by the many ways our Design Team and Guest Designer interpreted the cue this week...be sure to check out their blogs, too!
Yes, yes..melting snow!! Cute idea for the cue word Judy, your card is adorable. The black chevron border adds just the right pop of fun!
