Playing with MFT Blueprints 20

Hello, friends! Just stopping by today to share two cards I made using the MFT Blueprints 20 die set and some patterned papers in my stash.

For my first card, I paired a Lawn Fawn "Tiny Tag Sayings" sentiment with the pretty pinks and patterned papers of my card. I embossed the cream card stock with a Papertrey Ink Linen and Canvas Impression Plate (I used the canvas side):

My next card highlights a cut off section of the MFT die paired with a Gina K Scripty Sayings 1 sentiment and two small punched hearts. I embossed the card base using the PTI Linen impression plate, while the cream die cut stitched rectangle was embossed with the Canvas impression plate:

I am having fun with these dies and coordinating patterned papers...I think they are such warm, cozy cards!

Thanks, as always, for visiting today!
Take good care,
Judy

Playing with Concord & 9th

Hello, friends! I'm happy to steal some time away on this Saturday afternoon to share a few cards I've made using my Concord & 9th stamps...some new, some old, all fun!

The first two cards are clean and simple; I will be entering the first one into the current "Clean and Simple Challenge #329" at Addicted to Stamps and More!

I made another version, changing the layout a bit:

My next two cards feature a new favorite of mine, the Concord & 9th "Stitched Turnabout" stamp set.  I can't say enough good things about this set...I am truly obsessed!

Can you see the sparkling Wink of Stella on the punched heart?

Finally, I made two cards with another turnabout set, the Concord & 9th "Wreath Turnabout" set. I recently won this set in an Instagram giveaway by the generous Vicki Finger of Twinkling Paper Studio.  (Thank you again, Vicki!) I am just getting started with this one!

For these cards, I used a sentiment from the "Stitched Turnabout" set...it fit perfectly inside the wreath.

Well, that does it for me today.
Hope all is well on your end...thanks for stopping by!
Take good care,
Judy

Concord & 9th Stitched Turnabout...Obsessed!

Hello, friends! I wanted to stop by to share two cards I made using the Concord & 9th "Stitched Turnabout" stamp set. As soon as I saw the cards shared by the design team in the new release, I knew I had to have it and I ordered it right away.

I CASE'd this card (featured at the shop as a sample for this stamp set) for my first card.
(Sorry, I can't find credits for the design team member who made it!)

Here is my take (using a stitched border embossing folder to add to the theme):

My next card is one layer (my favorite kind). I just have to say, using ink cube sets that are already color-coordinated makes using these turnabout stamps SO EASY!  They take the guess work out of whether or not the colors will compliment each other.  For example, I used the Hero Arts Color Layering Ink Pads "Jane's Blush" for the outer stamping (and Spun Sugar distress ink for the soft pink inside).  These colors go so well together!

I have already started playing with other ink cube sets and the "Stitched Turnabout" set...I have stamped panels all over my craft desk, waiting to be make into cards! I also went ahead and bought the coordinating "Quilted Heart" dies, so I'll likely play with them a bit, too.

I'll be sure to post more cards with this set in the near future...I find myself thinking about it as I drive home from work and I just want to keep inking it up!! (Yep, I think that is the definition of an obsession...and I'm OK with that!)

As always, thanks for stopping by!
Take good care,
Judy
