Happy Mother's Day!

Hello, friends! I'm here today to share the Mother's Day cards I made for my mom and mother-in-law this year.

I had fun playing with the Concord & 9th "Stitched Turnabout" stamp set and a Hero Arts "Celebrate" stamp set sentiment for both cards.

On my first card, I used distress inks and a Cuttlebug Pinking Stitch" embossing folder for my card base.  I added tiny Hero Arts pearls for a final touch.

My second card is a 5" square card; I used a CGull "Circle Frame" embossing folder and drops of liquid pearls.

I hope you all have a wonderful Mother's Day...enjoy your day!

Fusion & Spring/Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop

Hello, friends! I'm stopping by today with a second card I made for the 2019 Spring/Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop!

I decided to use the sketch from the current Fusion challenge...I was particularly drawn to this sketch and it's clean and simple design.

My card uses some pretty spring patterned papers paired with a coffee cup and sentiment from Avery Elle's "Cool Beans" stamp set.

Thanks (or should I say, "Thanks a latte") for stopping by!
Take good care,
Judy

FMS #386 & Spring/Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop

Hello, friends! I'm stopping by today with a card I made for the 2019 Spring/Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop!

I can't let the occasion go by without making a card...I haven't missed one yet. So, here it goes!

My card was designed using the current sketch by Jen B. from Challenge #386 at Freshly Made Sketches and I'm getting this in just under the wire today. This is a sketch I will definitely refer back to for future cards...I love it!

I used some very summery patterned papers to make this card along with the cute Lawn Fawn "Love You a Latte" stamp set and a sentiment from Hero Arts. I fussy cut the coffee cups after stamping onto the patterned paper.  I am in love with the tiny floral pattern!  I'm not sure if you can see it, but I also dry embossed the polka dot paper with the Tim Holtz/Sizzix "On the Go" embossing folder for some texture and interest.

I will have another card later today for the Spring/Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop...once I took out my coffee themed stamps I had to make a couple of cards!

Thank you so much for stopping by,
Judy
