(1) CAS on Friday: Challenge #136 Splash - Watercolor
(2) Addicted to CAS Challenge #139 - Girl Power
(3) Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes
These challenges fit perfectly together for me...and I love it when that happens! I made a one-layer clean and simple card, and then went on to make an entire set of them because I liked it so much!
Here is my card for the challenges:
I stamped this sweet Unity image (Your Wings Exist) and sentiment (Margaret Girl) onto watercolor paper, then watercolored with Tim Holtz distress inks. Finally, I splattered a little bit of green watercolor for some extra interest.
See how simple that was? It took no time at all. That's why I went back and made some more, changing up the colors and swapping out the sentiment (from WPlus9 Strictly Sentiments 5) for two of them.
Here are the others in the set:
Finally, here they are by sentiment:
I'm sending all of these cards in for the ongoing Cards for Little Hearts card drive, which collects general themed cards from January through November. If you haven't heard of it, check out the website for more information.
Thanks, as always, for stopping by!
Judy

Hi Judy, Happy 4th and hope the heat wave is cooling down.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing the info for Cards for Little Hearts. I have given cards to charities that serve children previously and was ready for a change. Recently I have been very busy with teaching card making classes but now that summer is here life will slow down and I will make time to make and donate kid cards.
Hope all is well. Hugs, Barb
