CAS on Sunday: Believe

Hello, friends!  I'm so excited because I received the Precious Remembrance Shop "Blossom" stamp set that was just released and I couldn't wait to ink it up!

I went ahead and made a card for the current CAS on Sunday Challenge #58: Cheer Up, Buttercup.  I plan to send this card to a former colleague who is battling cancer and could use some cheering up.  I hope it works!

I want her to believe...believe in healing, believe in hope, believe in her doctors, believe in those around her who offer support and love.  Believe it will be OK.

I kept this card "clean and simple" by keeping it to one layer with one main image, lots of open white space, no embellishments, and it was very easy to create.

I love the artsy feel to these flowers...as soon as I saw them I knew I wanted to put them in the jar from the Oh So Fun stamp set by Precious Remembrance Shop.  I roughly colored the images with Copic markers, then spritzed the whole thing with Perfect Pearls Mist and adhered to a pink card base.  I love flat cards...so easy to mail.

Thank you for stopping by...I do appreciate your visits!

  6. Lovely card Judy and I know your friend will appreciate at. As a cancer survivor (10 years) I know the importance of receiving cards, even from strangers, and that is why I make and share my cards as a way of paying it forward ." Fighting the fight" is the phrase I use, and "believe" is perfect. FYI there is a Rednecker stamp that has a flower and a large believe.
