First, I added some pink and purple accents to the flowers for a Mother's Day card. (Note: the sentiment is on the inside of the card seen through a circle punched on the front and highlighted with spun sugar distress ink.)

I embossed the flowers on all three cards and added accents to individualize each of them. I do love these wild flowers! And I am so excited that today is a sunny, spring-like day with temperatures nearing 70 degrees! I can't WAIT for Spring! There is nothing better than the first time you open up the windows and smell the fresh air filling the house for the first time after a long winter! The snow outside is finally melting...perfect day to make cards for the "Spring Thaw" contest, don't you think?
Thanks for stopping by...take good care!
Judy
Judy, all three cards are just beautiful! We had warmer temps for a few days too, but it's much colder today with another snow storm coming Sunday. . .boo, hoo! Spring can't come soon enough for me! Hope your weekend is a fun one! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Judy! Thanks for stopping by my new blog - I just became a follower of yours too :) I'm a huge fan of your one-layer cards. Love how you used the wildflower stamp on these - especially the middle one! I can't wait for Spring either but I'm afraid we still have several more weeks of winter to go here :(
ReplyDeleteWonderful cards, Judy! You've done a brilliant job on making so many cards for OWH! 70 degrees sounds gorgeous, the snow won't last long with that! Hope you have a great weekend:)
ReplyDeleteJust gorgeous cards Judy. Love the boldness of the flowers that just pop against colour you used. I love your embossing.
