Fusion & Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop - Day 3!

Hello, friends!  I am back for Day 3 of the Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  I am also playing along with the current Fusion Card Challenge - It's Christmas!  and Inspirational Challenge #123 - Designer's Choice CAS with Sparkle.  I followed the sketch using some sparkly papers and made a fun coffee card!

Today I used a fun digi image from Neat and Tangled called "Warm Wishes."  I printed it on white card stock, then die cut it using a stitched circle die and mounted it onto a silver glitter circle.  The rectangle was die cut from a pretty snowflake patterned paper.  Finally, I adhered both die cuts to an embossed white card base and colored the mug with a coordinating Copic marker.

Supplies:
Stamps: Neat and Tangled (Warm Wishes Digital Stamp)
Dies: Simon Says Stamp (Stitched Circles, Stitched Rectangles); Spellbinders (Circles)
Other:  Sizzix (Three Dots embossing folder); DCWV silver glitter card stock
Inks: Copic marker

Warm wishes to all of you!
Thanks for visiting!

ATSAM #223 and the Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop - Day 2!

Hello, friends!  I am back for Day 2 of the Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop sharing a card I also made for the current challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More #223 where the theme this week is "Holiday."

Today I made a card using one of my favorite Santa images designed by Jane's Doodles.  While I have an old digi image of this Santa, you can find him in the "Mr. & Mrs. Claus" set at the JD store.

Isn't he just the coolest Santa?  I gave him a green coffee mug to add to the holiday spirit and covered it in Glossy Accents (along with his glasses) for some fun shine.

Supplies:
Stamps: Jane's Doodles (Santa Peace)
Dies: Simon Says Stamp (Stitched Squares); PTI (Wonderful Words - Holiday Collection)
Inks:  MFT (Black Licorice); Copic markers
Other:  Glossy Accents; red glitter sticker foam; Sizzix embossing folder

That's it for today.  I'll be back tomorrow with another card for the Winter CLBH...my goal is to have one for every day of the hop!

Thanks for stopping by!

CASology #227: SPACE

Hello, friends!  It's here!  The new cue card at CASology!

I know there are many ways to go with this cue, but I immediately thought of "outer space."  Maybe because I have some fun outer space stamps?

I paired my cute Gerda Steiner Designs alien with a fun sentiment from the Pink & Main "Believe Script" set.  The sentiment made me think of stars sparkling in the night sky!  Did you know that Pink & Main is our sponsor this week?  They are offering a very nice prize to this week's challenge winner!

Supplies:
Stamps: Pink & Main (Believe Script); Gerda Steiner Designs (Alien Invasion, Blast Off)
Inks: MFT (Black Licorice); Hero Arts Memories Dye Ink (yellow); Copic markers
Dies: Avery Elle (Scalloped Banner Elle-ments); Gerda Steiner Designs (Alien Invasion)
Other:  white gel pen; ultra fine clear glitter; Glossy Accents; white foam

I'm also linking up my card to the current Gerda Steiner Designs 27th Share Your Designs Challenge.

Be sure to link up your card by noon on Monday (Central time). I hope you get a chance to swing by the blogs of our Design Team and guest designer...they all have some great interpretations of the cue this week!

Hello, friends!  I was able to steal some craft time to myself on Friday night and came up with this clean and simple Christmas card for the current CAS(E) This Sketch #200. Congrats to CTS on reaching 200 challenges...what a great accomplishment! I'm happy to be able to play along and celebrate the big 2-0-0!

I played with a never-before-used Christmas stamp set from Gerda Steiner Designs called "Deck the Halls" and some holiday-colored patterned papers.  Super easy, super clean card.  (Just my kind!)

Supplies:
Stamps: Gerda Steiner Designs (Deck the Halls)
Inks: MFT (Black Licorice); Copic markers
Dies: Lil' Inkers (Stitched Rectangles); Paper Smooches (Flag Tags)
Other: Glossy Accents; white gel pen

I'm also entering this card into two other challenges:

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes

Hello, friends!  Continuing with the CASology theme of CANDLE this week, I'm just stopping by to share a snarky birthday card.  I also figured it would be a good one to share for the "Anything Goes" theme at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

I recently purchased this set from Art Impressions called "Fire Out."  I love these AI characters, and the sentiments crack me up, too!

I kept this one clean and simple by stamping the image onto a die cut base, and popping up the sentiment.

Supplies:
Stamps: Art Impressions (Fire Out); Hero Arts (Write Your Message)
Inks: MFT (Black Licorice); Copic markers
Dies: Mama Elephant (Index Card Creative Cuts)
Other: foam tape

Just a quick post today...thanks so much for visiting!
Take good care,
Judy

CASology #226: CANDLE

Hello, friends! Get ready to blow out some candles..our new cue card at CASology is up!

This week the design team members were invited to play with a few digital images provided by our generous sponsor, Kitty Bee Designs.  I was having so much fun with them that I used two images and made two cards for the occasion!

I printed both images under the Kitty Bee Designs digital birthday sentiment, then I die cut them into tags.  Once in tag form, I colored both with Copic markers and had fun mounting them to cards!

First up...a cute digital image called "Happy Birthday Kitty."  She reminds me of "Hello, Kitty" and I know one of my nieces will love this birthday card!

My next card uses Kitty Bee Designs "Birthday Bee" digital image.  I die cut the tag and inlaid it into an embossed background to add interest to all that white space.  I added Wink of Stella to the wings for some extra fun!

Supplies Used:
Digital Stamps: Kitty Bee Designs (Birthday Bee, Birthday Kitty, Happy Birthday sentiment)
Dies: My Favorite Things Die-Namics (Pierced Traditional Tag STAX)
Embossing Folders: Sizzix/Hero Arts (Chevrons); Cuttlebug (Gingham)
Other:  Copic markers; Wink of Stella; various ribbons

I can't wait to see what CANDLE brings to mind for you this week!  Be sure to link up your card by noon on Monday (Central time). Stop by our Design Team and Guest Designer blogs for more inspiration!
