(Click HERE for my give-away post...I pick a winner on March 30th!)
Hello, friends! It's Tuesday, which means it is time for our new cue card at CASology!
Instead of using real washi tape, I decided to play with my "Border Tape #1" stamp set by Precious Remembrance Shop. I stamped a row of overlapping tape images, then added a Cuttlebug die cut "thanks" on top. The coral and tide pool inks coordinate nicely, and provide a pretty background for the white sentiment on white card base.
In a different light....
Be sure to link up your WASHI card by noon on Monday (Central time). You will also be inspired by the many ways our Design Team interpreted the cue this week...be sure to check out their blogs, too!
Thanks for visiting,
Judy
The die cut thanks is so delicate and looks fabulous on the washi!
ReplyDeleteLove your choice of Washi, and your sentiment is fabulous! Really pretty card, Judy!
ReplyDeleteDyane will love the Judy!! I do too, it's delightful!!
ReplyDeleteI had to look closely after reading your blog...not washi?? Stamps??!! Very cool. Very innovative. In such fun colors too. Love how the "thanks" pops against the 'strips.' Great card. Bev
ReplyDeleteThis looks so effective! Great how you have overlaid the 'strips' and placed the sentiment over the top. Great card Judy!
ReplyDeleteClever, Judy ... very, very clever, and oh so cute!

Judy, this is awesome - Totally thought those were washi tapes! I was going to ask where you got that coral colored grid one. Ha ha!
ReplyDeleteReally like this card, Judy. Definitely one for me to CASE for one of my "send a smile" cards - and a great way to use some of my washi tape that I bought but rarely use!
ReplyDeleteLove the white sentiment on top of your Washi!! it really makes your sentiment stand out. Thank you for the fun comment you left on my blog! : )
