CASology #273: LIST

Hello, friends!  Happy Halloween!  It's time for a new cue at CASology, and this week's cue is a word with which I am VERY familiar!

Yep, I write lists every day.  To do lists, mainly.  Every day.  If I don't write it down, I will forget it.  It's that simple.

I have always loved this check-box list stamp by Precious Remembrance Shop, so I made a quick and easy thank you card.  (My card design was inspired by Lisa Elton, one of the Design Team members at PRS...once I find a link to her card I will add it here!)

I stamped the main image in khaki dye ink, cut it out, and jazzed it up with a few embellishments.  I kept the whole designs close to the card center so that white space remained all around.

Supplies:
Stamps: Precious Remembrance Shop (Thanks)
Inks: Simon Says Stamp (Khaki dye ink)
Dies: MFT Die-namics (Mini Rolled Roses), Poppystamps (Dainty Leaf); Fiskars (Scalloped Lace)
Other: Lifestyle Crafts (Happy Birthday 2-pack embossing folder),  Papertrey Ink felt (Melon Berry, Simply Chartreuse); metallic gem, miniature pearl

I can't wait to see how you interpret the cue card this week!  Be sure to link up your LIST card by noon on Monday (Central time). You will also be inspired by the many ways our Design Team and Guest Designer interpreted the cue this week...be sure to check out their blogs, too!

CASology #272: CHERISH

Hello, friends!  I'm stopping by today with my card for the new cue at CASology this week!

For the cue this week, I immediately thought of a sentiment from one of my favorite Precious Remembrance Shop stamp sets called "Positive Thoughts."  I stamped, colored and fussy cut the flowers and leaves, then layered them in a bunch to keep the overall layout CAS.  I paired two sentiments together and plan to use this as a birthday card.

Stamps Used:
Precious Remembrance Shop (BlossomOh So FunPositive Thoughts)

I'm also playing along at CAS on Friday where the challenge is to make a clean and simple card with flowers on it.

I can't wait to see how you interpret the CHERISH cue card this week!  Be sure to link up your card by noon on Monday (Central time). You will also be inspired by the many ways our Design Team and Guest Designer interpreted the cue this week...be sure to check out their blogs, too!

CASology #271: SORRY

Hello, friends!  Tuesday has arrived, and so has a new cue card at CASology!

For my card, I used a section of the "Happy Flowers" stencil from our sponsor, STAMPlorations.  I added the sentiment from the Paper Smooches "Simply Said" set and finished it off with a simple bow.  A simple image paired with a simple sentiment...sometimes that's all you need.

I'm going to enter this card into the current STAMPlorations October CAS Challenge as well as the Never-Ending Anything Goes Challenge.

I can't wait to see how you interpret the cue card this week!  Be sure to link up your card by noon on Monday (Central time).  Be sure to check out our guest designer and design team blogs for more inspiration!

You're On the Nice List

Hello, friends!  I'm so happy it is Friday and I was able to find some time to get crafty today before the craziness of the weekend begins!

I'm here today with a card I made for several challenges:

CAS(E) This Sketch #243 - check out this fabulous sketch by Donna!

Christmas Card Challenges #23 (I did not use the optional color inspiration)

My favorite (sometimes lucky) number is 23, so when I saw that all three of these challenges included the numbers 2 and 3 I figured it was a sign that I should play along!

For my card, I had some fun using one of my favorite Christmas stamp sets: "Jingle All the Way" from My Favorite Things.  I can't get enough of these Santa images, and the little girl is just too cute!

Thank you so much for stopping by today...I appreciate your visits!
Take good care,
Judy

CASology #270: ODD

Hello, friends!  It's time for a new cue at CASology.

I used a free digital image from our sponsor, Uniko Studio.  How perfect...an ODD number of balloons!

With this one-layer CAS card, I am entering the current Happy Little Stampers October CAS Challenge: One Layer.

Another challenge for a one-layer card can be found at Inkspirational Challenge #145 this week!

I can't wait to see how you interpret the ODD cue card this week!  Be sure to link up your card by noon on Monday (Central time). You will also be inspired by the many ways our Design Team and Guest Designer interpreted the cue this week...be sure to check out their blogs, too!

CAS on Friday Challenge #118

Hello, friends!  I am here to share a one layer CAS card I made for the current challenge at CAS on Friday Challenge #118 where the theme is Fall/Halloween.  I send Halloween cards to my young nieces and nephews each year, so this will be the start of my stash!

With this one-layer CAS card, I am also entering the current Happy Little Stampers October CAS Challenge: One Layer.

I am also entering it into the current Inspirational Challenge #145: Designer's Choice to make a one-layer card.

Finally, I'm entering the Addicted to Stamps and More! Challenge: Make Your Mark since I colored in these pumpkins with Copic markers and the sky with distress inks.

For my card, I stamped this pumpkin image, masked a frame and a circle for the moon, and then added distress inks for the sky.  Next, I unmasked the moon and colored with distress inks.  I colored the pumpkins with Copic markers and added some ultra fine glitter to the top edges as frost.  The bat image really pops in front of the yellow moon!

I love one layer cards because they are so easy to mail...no bulk, no damaged envelopes.  I may be making more of these...it was fun to color and I think it is a classic Halloween scene.  (All we need now is Linus awaiting the Great Pumpkin's arrival!)

Thanks so much for stopping by!

CASology #269: GRID

Hello, friends!  It's Tuesday, and that means a new cue is up at CASology.

I was "off the grid" during last week's challenge as I was sick (i.e., in bed with fever sick) for a few days.  Thankfully I am back and ready to play along this week.

I had to look up the definition of "grid" because I wanted to make sure it meant what I thought it meant!  The basic definition of grid in the dictionary reads "a network of horizontal and perpendicular lines."  In order to keep it simple, I used a grid image as a background to my card.

Supplies:
Stamps: Precious Remembrance Shop (Fall Colors)
Inks: Memento (Tuxedo Black), distress inks (Peacock Feathers, Scattered Straw, Wild Honey)

I'm also entering this card into the current Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes.
I can't wait to see how you interpret the cue card this week!  Be sure to link up your card by noon on Monday (Central time). You will also be inspired by the many ways our Design Team and Guest Designer interpreted the cue this week...be sure to check out their blogs, too!
