Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop - Take 2!

Hello again and Happy National Coffee Day!

I'm back to share a second card for the current Fall Coffee Lovers Bloghop!  I purposely decided to post my cards today in honor of National Coffee Day...best day ever!

For my card, I used the quirky and fun "Sketchy Coffee Cups" by Shery Russ Designs - STAMPlorations. I paired this paper-pieced coffee cup with a sentiment that I thought fit perfectly from the "Fond Expressions 2" set.  (Yes, coffee is my kind wonderful.)

Supplies:
Stamps:  STAMPlorations "Sketchy Coffee Cups," "Fond Expressions 2," "Paper Smooches "Shadows," My Favorite Things "Burlap"
Dies: Mama Elephant Index Card Creative Cuts
Inks: Black die ink; Hero Arts "Soft Wheat;" Antique Linen distress ink; Copic markers
Other: Crate Paper "Farmhouse" papers; Glossy Accents

I'm also linking this card up to the STAMPlorations Never-ending Anything Goes Challenge since I used all STAMPlorations stamps.

That's it for me today...thank you so much for stopping by and Happy National Coffee Day!

Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Happy National Coffee Day!

I'm so happy to be here today to share a card for the current Fall Coffee Lovers Bloghop!  I purposely decided to post today (even though the blog hop has been going on for several days now) especially in honor of National Coffee Day. I don't know about you, but in my book EVERY day is coffee day!

For my card, I used the quirky and fun "Sketchy Coffee Cups" by Shery Russ Designs - STAMPlorations. I paired these fun stacked coffee cups with a sentiment that I thought fit perfectly from the "Fond Expressions 2" set.

I paper-pieced each cup using fall-colored patterned papers from the Crate Paper "Farmhouse" 6x6 paper pad.  Glossy Accents on the coffee and Wink of Stella on the mugs help add to the design!

Supplies:
Stamps:  STAMPlorations "Sketchy Coffee Cups," "Fond Expressions 2," "Paper Smooches "Shadows," Impression Obsession "Gingham"
Dies: Mama Elephant Index Card Creative Cuts
Inks: Black die ink; Hero Arts "Wet Cement;" Antique Linen distress ink; Copic markers
Other: Crate Paper "Farmhouse" papers; Glossy Accents; Wink of Stella

I'm also linking this card up to the STAMPlorations Never-ending Anything Goes Challenge since I used all STAMPlorations stamps.

As always, thanks so much for stopping by...I do appreciate your visits!
Happy National Coffee Day!

CASology #217 - CUTE

Hello, friends! I'm here today with a few cards I made for the current CASology challenge...I think it's going to be a popular one this week!

This week we have a new sponsor at CASology...thank you, Kitty Bee Designs, for sponsoring our challenge this week!  For my cards today I played with one of their digi images.

Check out this adorable panda!  How CUTE is this fella?  With one paw up, I figure he can be holding something or waving.  That's why I made two cards with him...one of each!

Here he is holding a birthday balloon.  The popped-up balloon and twine are the only embellishments on this card, helping to maintain its clean and simple style.

Supplies:
Kitty Bee Designs panda digi image
Hero Arts "All Occasion Messages"
Simon Says Stamp stitched circle die
Tumbled Glass distress ink
Copic markers, white gel pen
Martha Stewart balloon punch
patterned paper, twine, pop dot

I'm going to enter this birthday card into the current challenge at Kitty Bee Designs: Aloha Friday Challenge #81 - Birthday.

For my next card, I printed the panda image a little smaller and added a sentiment below so he is waving hello!

Supplies:
Kitty Bee Designs panda digi image
Hero Arts "Stamp Your Own Fruit" and "Large Canvas Stripes"
Lil' Inkers Stitched Rectangle die
Antique Linen distress ink
Copic markers, white gel pen

I can't wait to see your CUTE creations! Be sure to link up your card by noon on Monday (Central time). I hope you will visit the Design Team and Guest Designer blogs, too...their cards are so CUTE!

CASology #216: FRAME

Hello, friends!  Happy Tuesday!  I'm here today with my card for the next CASology cue...check it out!

I received this stamp set in a surprise, out-of-the-blue card from the very sweet and generous Shery Russ, the founder of STAMPlorations and our sponsor this week. Her designs are fabulous, and based on her very thoughtful gift I know she is not only talented but also sweet, kind and generous!  Shery's blog is called That One Layer Mixed Media Girl and her designs are available at her STAMPlorations store (here).

As soon as I saw the stamp set she sent me, I knew that I would use it for this cue card. These beautiful blooms are perfectly framed!  After stamping, I added some pink to the petals and yellow and gold Stickles to the centers.  I popped up the die cut panel using foam tape.

Supplies Used:
Copic markers
Gold Stickles
Black and white washi tape
Mama Elephant "Index Card Creative Cuts" die
Foam tape

I'm also linking this card up to the current STAMPlorations September CAS Card Challenge (I used the pink optional color twist on my flower petals) as well as the never-ending Anything Goes challenge.

Be sure to link up your card by noon on Monday (Central time). You will also be inspired by the many ways our Design Team and Guest Designer interpreted the cue this week...be sure to check out their blogs, too!

Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge #18

Hello, everyone!  I'm here today with my card for the newest Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge #18 using this fun inspiration board:

For my project today, I chose to work with the middle row across:  Friendship/Blues and Greens/Ink Blending.

I had a lot of fun creating this sweet friendship scene!  After stamping the bunnies, I masked them and added my blue and green distress inks for soft, subtle sky and grass.

I also added some Wink of Stella to the bunnies to give them a little sparkle and pizazz...can you see it?

Card Supplies:
Stamps: Mama Elephant (Honey Bunny)
Inks: Distress Inks (Shabby Shutters, Tumbled Glass)
Dies: WPlus9 (Sunshine Layers), Martha Stewart (Three Butterflies)
Other: Wink of Stella

I am really looking forward to your take on the inspiration board for Challenge #18.  I hope you get a chance to play along!

Thank you for stopping by today!

Hello, friends!  I'm here with my second post for the day to share my card for the newest CASology cue card...I have a feeling it is going to be a popular one!

There are several ways to go with this cue...dogs...trees...I went with dog!  I had fun inking up this cute fella and masking him so I could ink a soft sky and grassy hill behind him.  While he's not barking at the moment, it could happen at any time!  ;)

Simon Says Stamp "You Are Pawesome" and "Handwritten Sentiments"
Distress Inks: Tumbled Glass and Shabby Shutters
Dies: Mama Elephant "Index Card Creative Cuts" and Lil' Inkers "Stitched Rectangles"
Other: Gold mini gem, foam tape, Copic markers

New Release at Precious Remembrance Shop!

Hello, friends!  I'm so excited about the new release at Precious Remembrance Shop! I'm here today as part of the new release blog hop and I can't wait to share my project with you!

Say hello to "Oh Christmas" stamp set!

You should have arrived from the Precious Remembrance Shop blog.  If you want to start from the beginning, here is the entire line-up for your reference:

Precious Remembrance Shop
Judy Marino --> you are here!
Stephanie Gold -- our Guest Designer this month!

I had fun layering some holiday patterned papers and combining stamp sets from Precious Remembrance Shop.  I LOVE this date stamp in the new release...the fun bubble numbers have so many possibilities!  Color...paper piece...so many options!  I also love that it fits perfectly inside the wreath from the "Joy" stamp set.

I have to admit...this little image started out as a tag, then I started layering and all of a sudden it was a card!  However, you could easily make a whole set of Christmas tags using this cute little image.

OK, so you might have guessed by now...there is a chance to win this stamp set!  Simply leave a comment to the shop's blog post and each designer's blog and let us know your thoughts about our newest set!  Good luck! :)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  • One lucky winner of the stamp set will be chosen randomly.
  • To keep updated with our projects, join us on our FacebookPinterest, and Instagram if you haven't already.

CASology #214: BEACH

Hello, friends!  It's time for our next CASology cue card!

Here is the inspiration for my card...this is the sun setting over the bay after a lovely day at the beach in Avalon, New Jersey.  We spent the day visiting my best girlfriend and her family at the beach earlier this summer, and this was the view as we drove home that evening. (In case you are concerned, I took this picture but my husband was driving.)

My BFF (i.e., Best Friend Forever) lives a few states away so we don't see each other very often...and I cherish every minute we do get to spend together.

I chose the sentiment for several reasons.  I miss my best girlfriend so, so much.  I also miss summer...sleeping more, running less, enjoying family time.

This card is my farewell to summer...and will be mailed to my BFF straight away.

Stamps Used:
Hero Arts "Silhouette Grass"
Technique Tuesday "Miss You" by Ali Edwards

In order to keep this design clean and simple, I masked off half of the large background stamp before stamping on the card and embossing in white.  Then I masked off each side of the image and added distress inks and spritzed with water.

I really look forward to seeing your interpretation of the cue card this week.  Be sure to link up your BEACH card by noon on Monday (Central time). Check out our Guest Designer and Design Team blogs this week for more beachy inspiration, too!

NBUS Challenge #7 and SSS Wednesday Challenge

Hello, friends!  I'm just under the wire as I play along with Darnell's NBUS Challenge #7 where the theme is "Anything Goes" as long as you use "Never Before Used Schtuff!"

I'm also playing along at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge where the theme is "Anything Goes."

I recently purchased this pretty sentiment stamp set from Inspired By Stamping called "Just For You" and I couldn't wait to ink it up!  (I'm adding it to the Customer Gallery while I'm at it.)

I also inked up my old Paper Smooches "Reflections"  stamps...honestly not sure if I ever did ink them up before. (Based on the border of my card, you can see they've seen lots of ink now!)

Supplies:
Inspired By Stamping "Just For You"
Paper Smooches "Reflections"
Various distress inks, Gold Stickles

I am enjoying the holiday weekend and preparing for the big week ahead...returning to work, kids returning to school (two incoming juniors in high school, one incoming freshman, and one entering middle school).  On top of that, sports and extracurriculars resume...soccer, cross country, dance, pep band, choir, stage crew.  Weekly music lessons (drums, guitar) continue.  My Labor Day is spent resting and prepping for the impending labor ahead!  Wish me luck!

Thanks for stopping by!
