CASology #184: VALENTINE

Hello!  I'm stopping in today with our next CASology cue card...love is in the air, my friends!

I masked and inked the right side of my card using various shades of distress ink, then spritzed with water for a marbled effect.  The poppy die cut was glued down directly onto the card front, and the pink die cut bow adds some more interest.

Supplies:
My Sentiments Exactly "Valentine's Day"
Memory Box "Prim Poppy" die
Reverse Confetti "Finished Frames Elle-ments"
Tim Holtz Distress Inks: Spun Sugar and Victorian Velvet
DCWV pink glitter paper
Water spritzer

Be sure to link up your VALENTINE card by noon on Monday (Central time). You will also be inspired by the many ways our Design Team and Guest Designer interpreted the cue this week...be sure to check out their blogs, too!

  7. Judy, this is classically beautiful!! I love this layout - the colour, the masking, the silhouette flower and the touch of marbling, and that little sparkly bow just finishes it off perfectly!! Haven't tried marbling yet, but I think I'm missing out, because it really adds something special. Hope you and your hubby get to celebrate this special day together. Happy Valentine's Day, Judy!!
