Paper Smooches SPARKS and a Little Snow

Hello, friends!  Home today -- another snow day off -- so what better excuse to make another card for the Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge: Anything Goes!  I made yet another Easter card using the free digi Easter basket and "egg-stra" sentiment, and I added the computer-generated sentiments around them.

So, I mentioned that we have a snow day today.  My four kids and I are off, and we spent a lot of time shoveling (our driveway and our neighbor's).

No swinging on the bench swing today...

And my poor outdoor-sport-loving son is having a hard time being in the house...no soccer, basketball or hockey today, either!

My youngest son (age 10) is the only one of the kids who still loves to get out and play in the snow...how fast they grow up!  I was happy to see him have a snowball fight and play in the snow with some neighborhood friends.

Off to do some laundry...lots of wet snow clothes to dry!
Have a great day!
Judy

  1. I was about to ask how you stamped the sentiment in colors. Computer generated sentiment? So clever!!! I should use that more in my card too. I'm kind of jealous you have a snow day as I live in California. Miss snow so much!!! Thanks for sharing the photos! Stay warm, Judy!!!

  4. Oh Judy, your son can come and play soccer in the backyard with my soccer mad 10-year old son! Lots of sunshine still in my neck of the woods! Can't get over all that snow!! My son would also be climbing the walls inside! Great use of a digi! I am hinting rather strongly for a new printer. Ours has had the bomb, cannot cope with anything heavier than 90gsm, and if printing in colour, I get those fantastic 'candy stripes' through the image! xx

  6. How adorable! Really is eggstra cute! Hmmm, I think you said "we have no snow" too many times? I, too, am so tired of shoveling!! Stay safe, and warm...

  7. Hi Judy I am guessing you day dream about Hawaii. We lived in snow country for 16 years and we have nice memories with the kids and grandkids. I won't be so mean to tell you it is a beautiful day in San Diego - oops. Enjoy the snow day. 😊❄️☀️

  9. That snow looks amazing!! Maybe if I had to live in it, it would be a different story. It doesn't snow where I live in New Zealand but it doesn't take long to drive to it in Winter (a ski field is only an hour away). Certainly looks like the kids enjoyed it! Your card is so sweet and love that you had the perfect easter basket. Have been trying to make a basket all weekend for the CASology challenge but all were a disaster, so no entry from me this week. Will have to live vicariously thru all the other amazing entries.....
