CASology #94: METAL

Hello, friends!  It's Tuesday, and that means it is time for another cue word at CASology!

This week we are sponsored by Cindy Coutts...be sure to check out the CASology blog for all the details.

Lots of ideas came to mind when thinking about the cue this week...but I settled upon a metal key using a new die cut/embossing set I recently bought at the local craft store.  The sentiment was computer-generated.  (This one is going in my DH's lunch as a surprise!)

Here is a closer peek at the embossing inside the key:

I kept this card clean and simple by using one layer of paper and adding one small embellishment (the ribbon).  Lots of open space helps, too!

Be sure to link up your "METAL" card by noon on Monday (Central time). You will also be inspired by the many ways our Design Team and Guest Designer interpreted the cue this week...be sure to check out their blogs, too!

  1. Wow...that's a lot of embossing powder. You kept it contained, though! Stunning!

    1. Hi Meghan! It's actually metallic paper that I die cut and dry embossed. I'm terrible with embossing powder! :)
