CASology #207: ROUGH

Hello, friends!  Happy Tuesday!  You know what that means, right?  A new cue card at CASology!

My thoughts went to making a card for someone going through a rough time...and that's what led me to this stencil and stamp set by STAMPlorations (our sponsor this week).

I masked the stencil so that only one flower was inked, and I added the ever-elusive-in-photographs Wink of Stella to the petals.  The sentiment fit perfectly inside the stem!

Supplies Used:
STAMPlorations "Noteworthy" stamps
STAMPlorations "Happy Flowers" stencil
Tim Holtz distress inks: Shabby Shutters, Scattered Straw, Spiced Marmalade
WPlus9 "Sunshine Layers" die
Wink of Stella

So, what does ROUGH bring to mind for you?  Be sure to link up your card by noon on Monday (Central time) and visit the Design Team and Guest Designer for more inspiration!

Guest Designer: Anna

Our Sponsor This Week:  STAMPlorations

I'm also entering this card in the current STAMPlorations July CAS Card Challenge (I used a touch of orange, the optional twist color, in the flower petal).  In addition, I'm also adding it to the STAMPlorations Never-Ending Anything Goes Challenge!

Thanks for visiting,
Judy

  6. Hi Judy, I like that you masked part of the stencil. The single flower makes a great image. Lovely card.
