UWYH Challenge #12

Hello, friends!  I am happy to be back from our California vacation and getting into the swing of things here at home...that means making cards again!

I am happy to be able to play along again with the current Use What You Have Challenge #12 at the Sweet Stamp Shop.  Have you checked this out yet?  If not, you need to go HERE!  What a great way to use up what we have been hoarding storing!

So, here is a picture of my stash...still working through my loads of patterned paper.  This 6x6 pad is My Mind's Eye "Stella Rose - Hattie." I paired these papers with some Martha Stewart punches and had some fun paper-piecing scenes!

Here is a clean and simple card...

And here is a busier card using the same stamps and a patterned card base...

Supplies Used:
Stamps: Sweet Stamp Shop "Furry Friends Forever," "Sweet Tooth," Hero Arts "Clouds"
Inks: black dye ink, soft pool shadow ink, Vintage Photo distress ink
Other: Martha Stewart grass and balloon punches, Die-namics Insta Frame die,
My Mind's Eye "Stella Rose Hattie" 6x6 pad, black enamel accents, ribbon

I appreciate your visit.  Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Welcome home, Judy! Both cards are so cute! Love your paper piecing! :)

  2. What fun! I definitely need to use up more of my paper pads, too, Judy! Glad to see you back - hope your vacation was great.

  3. LOVE them, Judy! Such a cute little critter!

  4. These are super gorgeous Judy! Great way to use up that patterned paper! I have so much of it too!

  5. Oh, just lovely getting back to crafting after vaca! Such a great feeling like a breath of air!
    Welcome back Judy!

Thanks your warm support my efforts (LOL).

  6. These are really darling cards. I love them both. Even the second is not too busy for me. But, I am puzzled by the challenge. I didn't know we were supposed to use any of the stuff we have? I thought we were all just collecting for our craft museums.

  7. I really need to do more paper piecing & you've inspired me, Judy! These are so cute!

  8. That little raccoon is adorable and he looks fabulous paper pieced like that! Can't believe of all the Sweet Stamp Shop sets I have I never got that one...

  9. Oh these are just adorable! Love the paper pieced raccoon! Both cards are lovely!

  10. Oh so sweet! Love this image and the card you made using it :) Hmm paper piecing....haven't done that in a while. Note to self DO IT!

Thanks for taking the time to comment...I do appreciate it!
