I masked and inked the right side of my card using various shades of distress ink, then spritzed with water for a marbled effect. The poppy die cut was glued down directly onto the card front, and the pink die cut bow adds some more interest.
Supplies:
My Sentiments Exactly "Valentine's Day"
Memory Box "Prim Poppy" die
Reverse Confetti "Finished Frames Elle-ments"
Tim Holtz Distress Inks: Spun Sugar and Victorian Velvet
DCWV pink glitter paper
Water spritzer

ReplyDeleteJudy, this is classically beautiful!! I love this layout - the colour, the masking, the silhouette flower and the touch of marbling, and that little sparkly bow just finishes it off perfectly!! Haven't tried marbling yet, but I think I'm missing out, because it really adds something special. Hope you and your hubby get to celebrate this special day together. Happy Valentine's Day, Judy!!
