Hello, friends! I'm stopping by with a quick post tonight.
I saw the fresh colors at the current Color Throwdown Challenge #489 and knew I had to play along! These colors are so fresh and fun, but to be honest they screamed "Christmas" to me!
For my card, I used a Hero Arts wreath repeatedly stamped in shades of green paired with a red glitter foam die cut "merry" on a white card base. Clean, simple, easy to mail- my type of card!
Here is a close-up of the glitter foam die cut sentiment. I also added small drops of red Stickles for extra sparkle.
Thanks for stopping by to check out my card!
Take good care,
Judy

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #26 - Card Sets
Hello! I'm stopping by today to share a set of cards for the current Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #26: Card Sets.
I made a set of cards that I sent in to the Cards for Little Hearts Card Drive because I thought these sweet little skunks would make any child smile! These cards are left blank on the inside for the hospital staff to write personal notes to the kids they serve with congenital heart disease.
For my cards, I stamped and die cut the skunk and the small images (flowers, hearts) from the Lawn Fawn "Stinkin' Cute" set and colored with Copic markers. I used distress inks to shade the backgrounds and made a few varieties for interest. The tiny hearts and flowers were adhered to die cut foam for some depth. (The sentiment is from a Simon Says Stamp set.)
Here are my cards one by one:
Here is a collage of all the cards together:
I know these cards were recently delivered to the hospital along with other donated handmade cards...I do hope they bring smiles all around!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Take good care,
Judy

Merry Monday #285 & ATSAM #287
Hello, friends! I'm stopping in today to share two Christmas cards I made and I'm entering them into two current challenges:
Here is the second card, using gold glitter paper for the bow:
I love using this die to add bows because it is still flat for mailing!
That does it for today. Thanks for stopping by!
Judy
I added ribbons (using the Memory Box Crisp Bow die) to both of my cards using die cut glitter paper...one in gold, one in red.
I "made my mark" by stamping a Hero Arts linen background on the cards, then stamped a Hero Arts sentiment and a Papertrey Ink wreath.
Here is the first card using a red glitter bow:

The Paper Players #388
Hello, friends! It has been a long time! Happy Easter to you all!
I took a break from social media of all forms during Lent this year -- I realized I needed to take a step back, spend time on what is most important in my life, refocus, reenergize, and not lose hours of my life on Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook. What a wonderful experience it was! That was one fast that I needed to do, and I will likely do it again. I'm coming back online slowly, trying to be mindful of how much time I spend online and keeping it in check. To everything there is a season, right?
I was blessed to receive a box of crafting supplies from my husband's uncle; his wife was an extremely talented artist (in many mediums - painting, paper crafts, home decorating, design, fashion, the list goes on!) and when she passed away he shared some of her stamping and paper supplies with me. There was a stamp set in that box that immediately caught my eye and I decided to make a thank you card for him using her stamps. I talked to her and thought of her the whole time I was making it...and I do believe she was with me in spirit.
For my card, I used the beautiful colors in the current Paper Players Challenge #388 by LeAnne shown here:
Here is my card. Thank you so much, Uncle Duke!
While I was fasting from social media, I did spend time making cards for a worthy cause -- namely, the Cards for Little Hearts Card Drive run by the lovely and talented Christina Hor. This card drive runs year round and is "dedicated to bringing smiles, hope and encouragement to as many children with congenital heart disease as possible by providing Heart Center staff with handmade cards that are given to patients during their hospitalization." I've decided to make an effort to send regular contributions for kids and teens alike. This is a great way for me to make cards, use my supplies, and share handmade kindness and positive thoughts with those in need. I will share some photos of cards I've sent in in the days to come. More information about this card drive can be found at the blog, Instagram, and Facebook pages. I hope you'll consider sending in a few cards!
Thanks for stopping by!
