CASology #55: CAMP

Hello, friends!  It's Tuesday, which means it is time for the new CASology cue word!

OK, so ask my kids why I didn't go on their recent camping adventure weekend with dad and they'll tell you the two things it lacked: air conditioning and a bed.  You guessed it, I'm NOT the camping type.  (Don't get me wrong, I am no pampered princess and was quite the "tom boy" in my youth.  I just hate mosquitoes, yet they seem to LOVE me!  And let's be honest: Momma also loves her sleep.)

So, this cue word was a bit challenging for me.  I finally came up with this idea after the girls told me how many dragonflies they saw near the lake!  (I'll probably give this to my DH for taking the kids camping and letting me stay home!)


Materials Used:
Stamps: Rubber Stampeded "Whimsical Dragonfly," Simon Says Stamp "Lots of Thanks,"
Hero Arts "Designer Woodgrain" 
Inks: black dye ink, Soft Pool shadow ink, Copic markers
Other: MFT Die-namics "InstaFrame"die, white embossing powder

    Oh my, forgot all about the BUGS when you camp! Another reason to stay home! lol! This one is cute and whimsical, though, (and a great colour)!

    This is a lovely card, I am with you, camping is not for me, bugs, no bed and no toilet does not excite me in any way!

    Lovely blue tones and the woodgrain is go great!!! I agree, no bed, no me! And my husband and I agree, it must be a King now... LOL!

    Yep, mosquitos are not my best friends either! Love the dragonfly idea for this card Judy! That grey and aqua-blue also go so well together!
