This week we are sponsored by Serendipity Stamps...check out their blog and their great shop, too!
We had a few unexpected snowflakes the other day...the news forecasted some sleet, but we wound up with almost 10 inches of the white stuff! (Surprise!) My two youngest couldn't wait to get outside to play -- after I dug around in the attic for the bag of snow pants and boots, hoping they would find something that fit! My DH went out to shovel, then he played a bit, too...he's always game for a snowball fight!
OK, now on to my snowflake card! I had so many ideas for this week's cue, but in the end I went with some less-traditional snowflake card colors...I love the sparkly navy blue against kraft!
Materials Used:
Stamps: Hero Arts "Very Merry Christmas," "Snowflake Rosette"
Inks: Navy dye ink
Other: Navy sparkle embossing powder, scallop circle punch,
Cuttlebug "Snowflakes" embossing folder, clear gem
I can't wait to see what this cue brings to mind for you. Link up your project by Sunday 4:00 p.m. Sunday, and be inspired by the projects of our amazing Guest Designer and Design Team, too!
Cute pictures of your family, Judy! Love your snowflake card, too!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you shared the adorable photos, Judy! I'm also glad we didn't get that much snow here - yuk! We did get some - just enough to make driving scary - yuk again!
ReplyDeleteI love your card! Beautiful embossing! Stay warm, safe and dry! ♥
I'm pretty sure any snow that might have fallen near me fell on you! Oops! What a beautiful, non-traditional Christmas card!
ReplyDeleteI really like the non-traditional colors on this, Judy! The embossed card base makes for a very pretty BG!
ReplyDeleteTEN inches?! We haven't gotten that much...yet. I think Mother Nature knows I need to have winter come slowly. LOL! Come January, I'm sure she'll be delivering larger batches of the stuff! I definitely need that sign about the snow...sigh.
Cute photos of your family, btw!!! :)
