CASology #29: Game

Hello, friends!  It's "game on" this week at CASology where the cue word is, you guessed it, GAME!

  Fresh Squeezed Stamps

Our challenge this week is being sponsored by Fresh Squeezed Stamps so be sure to check out the sweet images available at their shop.  (They have some adorable free digi images at their blog, too!)

I realized something really crazy this week...did you know that, despite having four very active and involved kids, I do not have ONE game-related stamp in my stash?  Well, I did have this cute Inkadinkado sentiment, but no images.  Yikes!  Then after cruising around Pinterest for some ideas, I decided to make a card shaped like a ball in honor of a game my whole family loves...baseball!  (As you can see from the well-worn baseball in the background, we have some baseball players in the house!)

Materials Used:
StampsInkadinkado "Tell It Like It Is," Purple Onion Designs "Stitches Set"
Other: Spellbinders Nestabilities circle die, Hero Arts Punch chalk ink, grey Copic marker

I made two versions of this card, one centered and one a bit off-centered with some masking.  I prefer the centered one myself.  (Yes, I admit to my OCD tendencies...you should have seen how long it took me to get the circle cards to stay still and not roll crooked while photographing them!)

Be sure to link up your entry by Sunday 4:00 (CST) and check out the GAME cards made by the CASology Design Team...we hope you'll play along!

Thanks for stopping by...have a great day!
Judy

  16. This really is such a cute sentiment, Judy, and so creative making a card around it ... love the stitching, love the placement on both! Centred sentiment appeals to my OCD tendancies (do all CAS lovers have these?), the offset one to my quirky ones! Anita :)

  18. That's a really clever take on the challenge, and I love how the sentiment works with the baseball! I too prefer the centered sentiment - I always try to balance my cards, when I should probably allow myself to lose balance now and then :)
