For my take on this, I embossed (F3245) Fanciful Dot Filament in black and embossed the sentiment from the (CL493) Live Life set in white. I used an old flower punch and a 1/8" hole punch to make the red and white flowers. Finally, I added a butterfly using a Martha Stewart butterfly punch. Here is my take on the card:
Do you ever look at a store-bought card and immediately think about how YOU could MAKE it using your stamps? (I do!)
Thanks for stopping by!

ReplyDeleteWow! So cool how the store bought card inspired you, Judy! Love your beautiful interpretation! So creative the way you used the stamps and punches! And I do that all the time too! I have a little stand of cards in the floral department. Many of them look hand painted and are so pretty! I have actually bought some to bring home for inspiration. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, Judy! I like your interpretation of the store bought card even better than the original card!! You really nailed this one!
ReplyDeleteGORGEOUS Judy!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Judy! You have translated your inspiration perfectly :)
ReplyDeleteI too, often look at handmade cards for inspiration and to get a feel for what the current trend is. The trouble is I spend too much time looking, it eats into my creating time - LOL
Wow Judy! I love how you got your inspiration and I adore how you interpreted it using what you had on hand! Love those stunning colours too and a gorgeous sentiment! (I was really touched by the comment you left on my blog the other day sweet Judy, thank you!)
ReplyDeleteI like your card better than the store bought card.
