CASology #235: HERO

Hello, friends!  It's time for our new cue card at CASology and this week it is all about your HERO!



When you look up this word, you will find two meanings...

    a person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities.

    NORTH AMERICAN
    another term for submarine sandwich.

I decided to go with the first definition, thinking of all the women in my life who have been heroic and brave in their battles (e.g., againt cancer and other challenges) and who are definitely courageous, outstanding and noble in my opinion.

I used a pretty "Tea Time" tea cup from our sponsor, Avery Elle, and watercolored it with Worn Lipstick distress ink.  The steam was stamped in Hickory Smoke distress ink, then outlined with a Sakura Gelly Roll glitter pen.  The sentiment is from Dyane Reaveley's Ranger Ink Dylusions "Clearly the Right Words" stamp set.

    The stamp set for the sentiment is clearly appropriately named. This is beautiful, and I love how you have depicted your hero. Strong and feminine. Powerful and pretty (with a hint of sparkle ;-). Beautiful and uplifting, Judy, as always.
